Mauritius: expressions of interest for the development of offshore wind farms

The Government of Mauritius, the Mauritius Research Council (MRC), an apex body to promote and coordinate national investment in research, invites 'Expressions of Interest for the development of Offshore Wind Farms for the Republic of Mauritius'.

The MRC is looking for reputable consulancy firms having past experience in development of offshore wind farms. The consultan(s) must have exstensive experience in collectiong site data, conducting permitting processes, organizing social debates, preparing tender documents for procuring offshore wind turbines, and providing site supervisory services of similar projects elsewhere.

The consultant(s) shall be assessed on a number of criteria available in the EOI document at web site.

Further to this EOI,a Request for Proposals may be sent to the shortlisted consultan(s) only. The successful consultant(s) wil be responsible to perform the tasks to be stipulated in the Request for Proposals.

Expressions of Interest (one original hard copy and a soft copy), in English language, together with all relevant informationaddressed to the Executive Director, in sealed envelope and clearly marked 'EOI/OWF/16-17/01 Expressions of Interest for the Development of OffshoreWind Farms for the Republic of Mauritius shold be deposited in the Tender Box or submitted/sent by registered post/Courier Service on or before the Thursday 4th May 2017 at 15.00 Hours Mauritian time  (+4 hr) at the address mentioned below: Mauritius Research Council, level 6, Ebène Heights, 34 Cybercity, Ebène 72201, Republic of Mauritius, tel.
